Ecommerce web design in Dubai: Shopify and WooCommerce stores

We build online stores for UAE businesses on Shopify or WooCommerce, with UAE payments, VAT and delivery set up properly, and Arabic when you need it. Then the marketing: once the store is live, we can run the ads and the follow-up that bring the orders.

Online store from AED 7,000 (≈ €1,700), one-off. Marketing after launch from AED 4,100/month per ad channel.

Tell us what you sell and how, and we’ll tell you which platform fits and what the store needs before you pay anything. Or message Miguel on WhatsApp: +34 611 833 911.

Who we build online stores for in Dubai (and who we’re not right for)

  • Brands that sell their own products and want their own store next to, or instead of, marketplaces.
  • Shops and showrooms moving their catalogue online, with delivery across the UAE.
  • Stores that already sell but lose orders at checkout, on mobile or because payment and delivery aren’t clear.

We’re not the right fit for a store that needs a custom-coded platform, or for marketplace account management on Amazon or noon. If you only need a company website without a cart, see every service with its price; for property, real estate web design in Dubai.

Shopify or WooCommerce?

We build on both and recommend one after the first call:

What an ecommerce website includes

Catalogue, product pages and a short checkout

Your products imported from your spreadsheet, with categories, filters and product pages that answer buyers’ questions before they pay. A checkout tested on mobile with real orders.

UAE payments: cards and instalments

Card payments through a UAE gateway such as Network International’s N-Genius Online or Telr, both with official apps for Shopify and WooCommerce. Telr states it is licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of the UAE. Instalments with Tabby, which operates in the UAE and documents plugins for Shopify and WooCommerce, or Tamara, which documents its Shopify set-up and UAE widget. Your company opens the account with the provider; approval and fees are theirs.

Arabic and right-to-left

UAE consumer law requires consumer-facing information, ads and contracts in Arabic, with other languages allowed alongside (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020, art. 26). We quote Arabic as a module and recommend it for any store selling to UAE consumers. On Shopify, the latest Horizon themes support right-to-left languages such as Arabic; on other themes we check before choosing.

VAT

UAE VAT is 5%. Registration is mandatory once taxable supplies and imports pass AED 375,000 over the previous 12 months (or are expected to within 30 days), and voluntary from AED 187,500. If you’re registered, we set it up in the store’s tax settings and invoices; your accountant confirms the treatment.

Delivery and returns

Shipping rates by emirate or weight, cash on delivery if you offer it, and your courier integrated. Prices, delivery fees, payment terms and returns are published, as the ecommerce law below requires.

Tracking from day one

Every purchase, with its value, reported to Google and Meta, so the ads that come later are judged on real orders.

Platform plans, hosting, apps, payment fees and ad budgets are paid by you.

Prices exclude VAT. If VAT applies, it is added at the legal rate and shown on the invoice. Invoiced by LEADS AND FUNNELS MARKETING FZCO, licensed by IFZA in Dubai (licence 75650). Compare with every service with its price.

After launch: ecommerce marketing in Dubai

Ads only pay when each order leaves enough margin. With one channel at AED 4,100 a month, if each order leaves you AED 30 in margin, you need 137 orders a month just to cover our fee, before ad spend; at AED 60, 69; at AED 150, 28. If the maths doesn’t work, we’ll say so and build the store only.

Licence and UAE rules before you sell

  • Licence. On the mainland, a commercial licence with ecommerce activity from the economic department, plus TDRA approval; a free zone company may need a local distributor or extra approvals to sell on the mainland (u.ae). Our guide to the ecommerce license in Dubai compares the options.
  • What the site shows. Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 asks for prices, fees and terms published, plus the licence, address and contacts, and gives customers return rights in set cases, such as faulty or non-matching goods.
  • Discounts. The Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020) requires a prior licence for promotions and general discounts, and treats fake discounts as misleading advertising.

The licence and permits are yours to hold; we build the store around them.

Case: none in ecommerce yet

We don’t have an online store client to show yet, and we won’t invent one. Our named clients are in Spain, in lead generation: a real estate agency, a mortgage broker and a dental clinic. What carries over is the method: tracking checked against real sales and everything built in the client’s name.

Who builds your store

Miguel Ángel Paniagua, founder of captacion.ai, runs your project personally, in English or Spanish. The company is LEADS AND FUNNELS MARKETING FZCO, licensed by IFZA for web design and marketing services. More on who is behind captacion.ai.

Frequently asked questions

Ours start at AED 7,000 one-off for one store, one language and one payment gateway. A large catalogue, more gateways, Arabic as a second language or integrations add to it, quoted in writing before we start. Platform, hosting and payment fees are paid by you.

Neither wins every time. Shopify is quicker to launch and needs less upkeep; WooCommerce gives full control but needs hosting and maintenance. UAE gateways such as N-Genius Online, Telr and Tabby work with both.

Yes. A mainland store needs a commercial licence with ecommerce activity and TDRA approval, according to u.ae. A free zone company may need a distributor or extra approvals to sell on the mainland. Our ecommerce license in Dubai guide compares the e-Trader, mainland and free zone routes and their costs.

It builds the store, connects payments, delivery and tracking, and then brings traffic and repeat orders through ads, email, WhatsApp and SEO. We do both parts, sold separately.

Not yet. Our named clients are in Spain, in lead generation. We say so plainly.

You do: the domain, the store, the payment accounts and the customer data are in your company’s name. If we stop working together, you keep everything.

No. Nobody can promise sales from a store or from ads. We commit to the work: a store tested with real orders and, if you hire marketing, a monthly check of ad results against your actual orders.
