Across the 224 UAE keywords we measured, mostly searches for marketing, web and software services, Google estimates a median cost per click of AED 43 (USD 11.65); half of them sit between AED 29 and AED 78. By sector, the median runs from AED 31 for general marketing agencies to AED 95 for SEO services.
These are Google’s own estimates, taken from Keyword Planner data for the UAE in English. They cover what businesses pay to appear when someone searches for marketing, web, software, real estate and healthcare services. They are not what you will pay: your bids, your ad quality and your competitors on the day decide that.
Below: the table by sector, how we built it, what moves the price in Dubai, a starting budget you can work out yourself, the mistakes that burn money, and when Google is the wrong channel.
Google Ads CPC in Dubai by sector
The median click ranges from AED 31 to AED 95 depending on the sector. SEO, healthcare marketing and PPC services are the most expensive in our data; general marketing agencies and AI services the cheapest.

How to read it:
- Median CPC is the middle value: half the keywords in the sector cost more, half cost less.
- Middle half is where the central 50% of keywords fall. It tells you more than an average, because two keywords with very little traffic reach AED 480–630 a click and would drag an average up.
- Distinct figures: Google reports close variants together (“seo agency dubai” and “seo company dubai” get identical numbers), so we count each set of identical figures once. The keyword count is shown for reference.
- AED at the fixed rate of 1 USD = 3.6725 AED, the UAE dirham peg.
What the real estate and healthcare rows measure: the searches in our data are business-to-business (“real estate crm dubai”, “dental marketing agency”) and market research (“dubai property market”). They are not buyers looking for a flat or patients looking for a dentist. We haven’t measured those auctions, so we don’t publish a figure for them.
Sectors you might expect, like legal, home services, education or beauty, are not in the table because our data has no keywords for them. We’d rather leave them out than guess.
How we built these numbers
Source: DataForSEO’s Google Ads endpoints (keyword ideas and search volume), location United Arab Emirates, language English, queried on 2026-10-29. That data comes from Google’s Keyword Planner.
What each figure is. For each keyword, Google gives an estimated cost per click and a top-of-page bid range. Google defines the range as the 20th and 80th percentile of what advertisers have historically paid to appear at the top of the page, using bid information from the last 30 days. All of it is an estimate for planning, not a quote.
How we got from 1,912 keywords to 224:
- We started from 1,912 keyword ideas around marketing services in Dubai. Only 227 came back with a cost per click, usually because too few advertisers bid on them.
- We added the CPCs of the seed keywords we had measured separately, for 264 keywords with a CPC.
- We removed 27 brand or navigational searches (software brands and agency names) and 8 generic terms with no Dubai and no intent to hire a service (“sales funnel”, “marketing dashboard”), because they measure something else.
- Each of the remaining 229 keywords went into one sector by the words it contains, with industry sectors (real estate, healthcare) checked before service sectors. Four we placed by hand, by what the searcher wants: the two “whatsapp automation” searches in CRM & WhatsApp, and “ai search optimization” and “chatgpt seo” in AI.
- Inside each sector we counted each set of identical figures once and took the median and the 25th and 75th percentiles. A sector with fewer than 5 distinct figures is not published. That left out lead generation services: its 5 keywords give only 4 distinct figures, too few to call a median.
Limits:
- “Dubai” here means the whole UAE: Google’s location is the country. Some keywords don’t name Dubai, but every figure is for searches made in the UAE.
- English only. Arabic searches have their own auctions, and we haven’t measured them.
- Volumes and CPCs are Google estimates, rounded, and they move every month.

What moves the cost of a click in Dubai
In our data, a higher CPC does not come with more competition: SEO services have the highest median CPC (AED 95) but the lowest competition index (17 out of 100), while general marketing agencies sit at 48.5 with one of the lowest CPCs (AED 31).
Competition and the value of a client
Google’s competition index counts how many advertisers show on a keyword compared with the rest. It doesn’t set the price on its own. One likely reason: when a single client is worth months of fees, a few advertisers bid high. Either way, a sector median is only a starting point.
Intent inside the same sector
Two searches about the same service can be priced very differently:
- “web design dubai”: USD 21.32 (AED 78) a click.
- “web design price dubai”: USD 5.00 (AED 18) a click.
- “google ads agency dubai”: USD 12.98 (AED 48), while “google ads dubai” reaches USD 57.68 (AED 212).
Check the keywords you plan to bid on one by one. The sector median tells you the ballpark, not your bill.
Ramadan and the season
In our data, searches for these services did not fall during Ramadan 2026 (late February to most of March): March 2026 was the busiest month of the twelve, with 60,860 searches across the service keywords we measured, against 41,550 in February. The quietest month was August 2026, with 23,340, under 40% of March.
We only have search volume by month, not CPC by month. So we can’t tell you whether clicks got more expensive during Ramadan; anyone who quotes you a figure should show where it comes from.
Language
Dubai advertisers often run English and Arabic campaigns side by side. Each language is its own auction with its own prices. This study covers English only.
A realistic minimum budget for Google Ads in Dubai
Google sets no minimum, but a test needs enough clicks to show what works. If you plan on about 300 clicks a month (around 10 a day), the median CPCs above put ad spend at AED 9,380 to AED 28,560 a month depending on the sector, and about AED 12,840 at the all-sector median.
The arithmetic, so you can redo it with your own keywords:
- Monthly ad spend = clicks you want × CPC.
- 300 clicks × AED 42.78 (all-sector median) = about AED 12,840.
- 300 clicks × AED 28.73 (all-sector 25th percentile) = about AED 8,620, if you stick to the cheaper keywords.
- General marketing agencies: 300 × AED 31.25 = about AED 9,380.
- SEO services: 300 × AED 95.19 = about AED 28,560.
Why 300 clicks: it’s our planning assumption, not a Google rule. With a few dozen clicks you can’t tell a keyword that converts from one that got lucky. With a smaller budget, bid on fewer keywords rather than spreading thin across many.
How Google spends it: you set an average daily budget. On a given day Google can spend up to twice that amount, but over a month you pay no more than 30.4 times the daily budget. For 300 clicks at AED 43, that’s a daily budget of about AED 420.
Ad spend goes from your card to Google. Any agency fee, ours included, is on top.
Common mistakes with Google Ads costs in Dubai
Most money is lost by treating the cost per click as the result. A click is a visit; what you need to know is the cost per enquiry and per client.
- Reading CPC as cost per lead. At AED 43 a click, if 1 in 20 visitors sends an enquiry, each enquiry costs about AED 860. That 1 in 20 is an example, not a benchmark: measure your own. The method is the same as in our guide on how to calculate cost per lead and per viewing.
- Bidding on the broadest keyword. As above, “web design dubai” costs about four times “web design price dubai” in our data. Start with the searches that say what the buyer wants.
- Paying for research. “dubai property market” has about 1,900 searches a month at USD 4.71 (AED 17). Cheap clicks, but most of them are people reading, not buying.
- Tracking only forms. In Dubai many enquiries come by phone or WhatsApp. If Google only sees form fills, it optimises for the wrong thing.
- Trusting one-off CPC spikes. The most expensive keyword in our data, “ai search optimization”, shows USD 171.99 (AED 632) a click with 20 searches a month. Keywords with very few searches can show extreme figures, because a handful of clicks sets the estimate. Don’t plan a budget on them.
- Advertising before the permit. Every real estate ad, including general lead campaigns, needs a Trakheesi permit number from your broker. Clinics need a MOHAP health-advertising licence, and every ad’s content must follow DHA rules and be approved by the medical director. If individuals (influencers, freelancers) post paid content for you, they need the UAE Advertiser Permit.
Google Ads or Meta in the UAE?
Use Google Ads when people already search for what you sell; use Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when they don’t search yet and you have to create the demand. Many Dubai businesses end up running both, judged by cost per client rather than cost per click.
| Compared | Google Ads (search) | Meta ads |
|---|---|---|
| Reaches | People typing what they want, now | People who match your audience, before they search |
| Usually billed by | Click | Impressions |
| Works best for | Urgent or high-intent services, comparisons, “price” and “near me” searches | New offers, visual products, property launches, local services people don’t search for by name |
| Main risk | High CPC in valuable sectors | Low-intent form fills |
This study measured Google only; we don’t put a Meta figure next to it because we didn’t measure one. For how Meta charges and the dated cost per lead benchmarks we could source, see what Facebook and Instagram ads cost in Dubai. If you want the demand-creation side run for you, that’s our work on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads. For clinics, see healthcare marketing in Dubai.
Frequently asked questions
For the 224 UAE searches for marketing, web, software and other business services we measured, Google’s estimated median is AED 43 (USD 11.65), and half sit between AED 29 and AED 78. By sector, the median goes from AED 31 for general marketing agencies to AED 95 for SEO services. These are Google Keyword Planner estimates from October 2026, not what you will pay.
For a test of about 300 clicks a month (our planning assumption, not a Google rule), the median CPCs in our data put ad spend at AED 9,380 to AED 28,560 a month by sector, or about AED 12,840 at the all-sector median. Google itself has no minimum. Work it out as clicks you want multiplied by the CPC of your own keywords.
We measured Google only, so we don’t compare prices. The two charge differently: Google search usually bills per click from people already searching; Meta usually bills per impression and reaches people before they search. Compare them on cost per client, not on cost per click.
Our data shows search volume by month, not CPC by month, so we can’t say. Searches for the marketing, web and software services we measured did not fall during Ramadan 2026: March 2026 was the busiest month of the year in our data.
Keywords with very few searches can show extreme figures, because a handful of clicks sets the estimate. The highest in our data was USD 171.99 (AED 632) a click on a keyword with 20 searches a month. That’s why we publish medians and ranges, not averages.
